ABOUT THE ARTIST

 

Myla is a beauty and editorial focused makeup artist based in the GTA. She is a Hamilton native, and has been passionate about visual arts throughout her school years.
It wasn’t until she underwent 3 years of university where she began combining visual arts with cosmetology.

While becoming a makeup artist in training at Sheridan College, she has spent her time consistently collaborating with several photographers and makeup artists. She has experimented with several styles of makeup, ranging from minimal to avant garde with a focus on editorials and creatives.
Myla aims to pursue a unique editorial style, creating impacts and a bold statement with each look that she creates.

If she’s not on the job, you can find her searching through publications for fashion inspiration to stay ahead of trends, wandering through shops to find bold and eccentric earrings to complement her makeup looks, or eating poutine (with real cheese curds).
